a family of well-trained trade professionals with focus on giving back
to the communities that support the stores. Each location reflects the
knowledge, customer service, community spirit, and family enterprise of

- The Landragin family bring more than 40 years of
winemaking expertise to the table, with Dominique being 12th generation
winemaker from Champagne, France. He and his wife, Anna, and daughter, Antoinette, join their
viticultural and culinary expertise to compliment the wine selections as
a whole.

How the Products Are Selected:
Dominique, Anna, and Antoinette
participate as a team to select the wines and beers for all stores.Wine are carefully
selected from specialist
importers and focus equally on the Old and New Worlds, as well as a wide variety of Organic and Bio-dynamic wines. The
beer selection showcases new releases and highly rated beers from across
the globe. One Yelper writes, "Wonderful selection of wine and
beer, very nice staff."
Micro-Brews:
Most recently, the
buzz is focused on the featured micro-brew selections in each of the
stores. One review on
BeerAdvocate.com says the Gainesville store has an "eclectic beer
selection that rewards looking closely several times and being
adventurous."
Beer Tastings:
For the
Gainesville-area beer lovers, the VA store holds weekly beer tastings on
Friday evenings, as well as monthly Sunday beer classes. This location
has the largest cigar selection, and special orders cigars based on
inquiries. This location also holds monthly open-mic nights, and often
features local artists.
Wine Tastings:
All three locations encourage consumer
education by hosting regular wine tastings on a weekly basis. All
tasting events are very welcoming, engaging, and informative, and offer
special pricing for the consumer for the products on feature.
Awards:
The Best
of Bethesda 2010 Award was given to the Bethesda location in 2010.
This store offers the best of the best of wine, micro-brews, and all
thing wine related, including Eisch glassware. One Yelp reviewer states,
"I swear by them and fully recommend them to everyone."
Cork Recycling:
All the stores
serve as drop-off centers for Re-Cork
America, a cork recycling program. Custom made gift baskets are
available year round.
